Pup's bio: Born August 11, 1983, Chris was raised in Melbourne and later moved to Phillip Island, south of Melbourne with his family. Chris's older and younger brothers Luke and Liam are also actors and have had recurring roles in Neighbours
In 2004 he auditioned for the part of Robbie Hunter in Home and Away, but was recalled for the part of Kim Hyde, which he played until 2007. Hemsworth appeared in series five of celebrity dancing show Dancing with the Stars, but they were the sixth couple eliminated.
Hemsworth portrayed James T. Kirk's father, George Kirk, in the Star Trek reboot film and starred in A Perfect Getaway. Starred in horror film The Cabin in the Woods executive produced by Joss Whedon and also portrayed Jed Eckert in the Red Dawn remake. Most recently known for Thor.
He had a girlfriend for a few years (Isabel Lucas) but it didn't work out. In recent years he's been living at Bruce Greenwood's beach house in LA with boyfriend Anton Yelchin.
