After all the weather we had in mid August, it's been nothing but really great in NY lately. Mom loves it of course but she lives here all the time, she usually has no complaints at all, at least about the weather.
But Sunday, man it make me proud to be a New Yorker, proud to be from the US, all of it. IT was only 14 ten years ago but I remember being at school and then everything just kind of stopped. I remember getting home and not seeing the usual skyline, and me, Drake and mom just sticking to the TV. Ten years and I remember it so vividly. It's crazy.
But now I'm back in California. And glad it is still so nice. I'm gonna squeeze as much beach time out of what's left as I possibly can. New movie coming up soon, and I do have to find some time to spend with friends and all that too. |
