So, I was on Ellen recently, and the topic of my Nuts came up. Yes, apparently my fans refer to themselves as Pine Nuts. I love my fans like crazy, I owe my success to them, after all. Still, I have this feeling that I'm going to be asked about my Nuts frequently moving forward. I think most of the 'fanning' (is that a word in this context?) that I get is not really about me, but the characters (Kirk, of course, but I've gotten a ton of fan mail about Jack Frost and even some about Rhett Ryan (my country singer - don't ask) and weirdest of all, the freaky scumbag Darwin Tremor from Smokin' Aces.). I haven't received any undies or room keys in the mail, yet.
And I'm officially single again, something that the Ellen audience seemed to like (was there an 'applause' sign there - please, don't tell me, let me believe). Ellen asked me what I looked for in a girlfriend, and I had a very clear image of saying something to the effect of 'and for a boyfriend, I like ... '.
But I didn't - I'm just not ready yet. I can't help but wonder how Ellen would have reacted to that. Would coming out as bi have tanked me?
That said, I'll go ahead and throw my question out: What are some of the crazier things that peoples' fans have done? Also, has anyone ever had to really fight the temptation to come out in some fashion?
My respect to those of you that have done it - whatever the professional consequences were. |

So I'm getting back into LA after the network upfronts in NYC and I want to take a dance class. A sexy dance class. Something to do in addition to the time I'm going to have to spend in the gym to get ready for next season's Arrow. Do they have those at the club and if so has anyone taken them? 'Cause the point is to get laid. :)

Whatever mod is on the other end right now has been superefficient and, like, immediately posted my claims for Viggo, Milla and Leo on Tom Hardy's behalf. Thank you to gringitasarita for pointing out that I had never NPCed them, and thank you mod for being quick like bunny.

The upshot of the Tom situation is this: I am going to post a bridge kind of ficlet that will tie up as many loose ends and vagaries as I can. Because the writers of Leo and Viggo have moved on to other things (ages ago), it's as hard for me to maintain those relationships as it was for me to juggle Bruce, Anton and Chris. So please, if you want one of these three pups listed up there, let me know and we can hash out what to keep and throw out.
The core fundamentals are this: I'd like to avoid breakups, but I am willing to offer as much flexibility as I can. People's lives change and they grow (and grow apart). Viggo is so eccentric and amazing, Milla is so goddamned famous and Leo is a machine, workwise, so it'd be hard to maintain ONE relationship in ONE country, let alone several in several. So I can just see this being a transitional thing, with maybe something like every once in a while Tom meets with Viggo or Leo offscreen and they exchange, "I love you, are you happy? Good. Same time next year?"

I've got several things going now in the hunt for proper, unrestrictive bondage. Unrestrictive to me, not the boy. I need freedom of movement, as you do, when he's all tied up.
Most recently, I found these, which are grippy suspension cuffs. They have a chain going between them, but I bet that can be modified to go onto this. That's a lot of flexibility right there. No big, bulky furniture to get in the way of my movements. I just need a support beam to hang it on.
I love the idea of this one, but the base is pretty damned broad and if I'm walking around, I will fucking trip on the bars there. Also it's a sling, so the proportions of it aren't going to be conducive to rigging up standing bondage.
I'm just going to either need space for all of it, or I'm gonna have to make up my mind. Fuck. I hate having to do that. |

| Backstory woes |

So in Tom's recent post and subsequent thread, he mentions living in a flat and considering buying a house. Well, I mucked up his backstory, then, because last we mentioned, he was living with Leo and just not seeing Leo much because Leo is...well, Leo, and he works like a machine and flies off to Africa to help babies and suchlike.
But it's been tricky balancing all of that, because in spite of the fact that I love Tom's backstory with Leo and Viggo, the more time elapses, the more I forget this stuff. It's been...a couple years? Since Viggo's writer left the game, and it's been longer than that since Leo's did, so now it's all muddy in my head.
What do you guys do in a case like this? I don't want to wipe the backstory, I don't want to break people up, I just kind of want to...sunset that part that prevents him from moving forward with Davey. |

The sun is shining when Oded wakes up and much to his surprise, Zane is still sleeping next to him. Usually his lover is up before him and Oded wonders what Billy would say to breakfast in bed. Only one way to find out. He carefully disentangles his legs from his lover's, getting out of bed for a quick shower. When he's back in the bedroom, he doesn't bother with getting dressed but he stands in the doorway for a moment to watch Billy sleep. Happy, he thinks before he walks downstairs to prepare their breakfast. |

Once the door is closed, once Jeremy has had a quick look around the room, checking to see he has everything he needs, only then does he turn to Colton.
"Finish undressing for me, boy. Give me a show, make me get hard all over again." He sits in the big squashy chair he asked for. No arms because at some point he has always intended to see whether Colton enjoys a spanking.

So, I'm in the market for a couple of high-ticket items, but I can't make up my mind.
I'm thinking about a Cross, but I want something that does a little bit more suspension type stuff. Having your boy up against a wall can be kind of limiting. There's also the space issue, but I'm thinking of getting a bigger flat, anyway.
So I'm trying to decide between a traditional jobbie that I have to assemble once I get it home, and a suspension kit that goes in the doorway so I can move around him better because I don't yet have the space to put a massive object in the dead middle of the guest room so I can do my menacing pacing-around-and-inspecting thing. Thoughts? Has anyone bought a massive piece of gear that required a space of its own (or for which you had to upgrade your real estate)? I mean, whatever I get, it's going to dominate the room, yeah?

I would never do that - she's so wonderful and so different to me. I almost feel bad doing the comparison myself. But if there is anything she has done that I would like to do as well, it's do a second James Bond theme. I'm not hinting at anything, just that when I did Die Another Day, it was one of the best experiences of my career, and I would love another chance to do that. I actually think - seeing this is my wish and not even near to being a reality, as I would of course do whatever the producers wanted - I would prefer not to appear in the movie if it was to happen again. Not that I didn't enjoy creating the first lesbian Bond girl - I just think it would be hard to do another first like that. Unless they let me play the same character and I got to kiss Moneypenny, but that wouldn't be likely to happen. Still, that might be fun, and not only because Naomie Harris is stunning - though that doesn't hurt a bit.
But yes. If I could have one thing in my career, that's the thing I'd choose. I'm not sure I have a chance of it, but it would be great if it could happen. |

| There is nothing like being on stage |

I love working in TV. Movies, I'll need a little more experience with to love, but everything so far has been positive, which points to future love. But being on stage, preferably in a musical - though a straight play (who came up with that, anyway? It always seems a little odd to say) is equally amazing - the audience right there, where you can hear reactions - and not just applause - is the best feeling in the world. That high can't be replicated. A really good scene, where you get totally lost in it, is the closest I've come otherwise, but that has its own pleasures that just feel slightly different.
It's good to have something - or two things - to feel like that about, though. |

Another bunch of white walls, another interview every hour, another way of eluding the questions about the plot that we're not allowed to answer, even if we wanted to. Sometimes it'd be interesting to just say it, but even if we did, it'd never make it to print, so why bother? I mean, god, if people want to know, they can go see the movie, you know?
You know, given that, you'd think I was pissed. I'm not. I like the press tour. It's crowded, and has its bad moments, and I miss the hell out of Noah, but you know what? I like figuring out what the different questions are going to be. I like being in the audience of the premiere screenings and seeing people's reactions. I like promoting a movie I really believe in - and I think it's a great movie, and that's because of everyone who contributed in any way.

I mean in relation to acting. Well, and being benevolently evil in a scene can be fun too, of course. But I love playing the character I'm playing on Revenge. All smooth evil, has the perfect line to shut up the schemers, great wardrobe - what's not to like? Honestly I think he's easily one of the less difficult to 'get' characters, too. I have the backstory that he's a trained assassin, probably brought up by one, but that's just in my mind - the writers could decide something else, and I'd play it.
But I'm going to enjoy it, no matter what. I kind of hope that as long as I can make it work, I'll be able to do this show as long as they want me. |

Have you ever had someone come up to you and comment on public play you did? Or have you ever gone to talk to someone about it?
I was in the club last night and this guy walks over, and straight up, the first thing he says "I saw you getting fucked in the ass last week."
O...kay? You and everyone else who was there on Friday, I mean the fuck you want, a cookie? (No, he wanted to fuck my ass, but "I have eyes and the same schedule as you" is not a chat-up line.)
But another time a guy came over who'd seen me do a real heavy scene and was looking for the same, wanted advice. He bought me a beer, we talked, all cool. But the guy last night acted like he wanted some kind of prize.
So... go on, tell me I'm not the only one who gets the weirdos!!! And what about the nice ones too? Like in general, do you think it's OK to go talk to someone about something you seen them do if they did it in public?
