    Paget sends Pat [info]monahan a care package

    "Okay," Paget says as the conversation starts to wind down, "You tell Jimmy he'd better take care of you or he'll have to answer to me!" The smile's obvious in her voice when she says it, though. After a few more exchanges, she's hanging up, looking worried over how rough Pat sounded, just talking.

    After a couple of minutes of fretting, Paget grabs her laptop and starts searching. Once she's satisfied with the care package, she calls an Establishment courier to pick it all up for delivery (if anyone can find a touring band on the road, it's them!). Then, she shoots off a quick text to Pat:

    Expect care package soon


    Included in the care package:

    'Frog in a Pond' teapot
    an airtight canister filled with Lemon mint chamomile tea
    and a jar of citrus blossom honey

    Note reads:

    Take care of yourself for me, since I can't do it myself right now.

    As usual, Paget makes Jon feel right at home, getting him set up on the sofa with a cup of chamomile, and as soon as she sits down, he cuddles right up to her, smiling and nuzzling her neck. ( Thanks. You’re awesome like cherry pie. )

    [Occurs June 15 2010, after this journal entry. The news had just broken that AJ Cook's contract would probably not be renewed and that Paget would likely have reduced episodes in the new season.]

    Paget and [info]shemar_moore - You should be dancing...

    Paget's back in the master bath, finishing her make-up when she hears the front door open and close. "I'm back here!" she calls as she brushes on mascara, "Come check my outfit and see if you'll be caught in public with me!"

    Shemar's eyes roll with affectionate amusement as he makes his way through the house. He knows his way, being a frequent visitor to Paget's home, and moves with ease through the rooms towards Paget's voice. "I'm sure you'll be stunningly sexy, as always," he says, coming to lean in the doorway of the master bath. He folds his arms and grins fondly. ( Hey, mama. )

    When the doorbell rings, Paget's still back in the spare bedroom she uses as a studio, finishing getting everything set up. She finishes angling the light before jogging towards the front of the house.

    "Coming!" she calls, answering the door barely a second later. Smiling, she opens the door wide, giving Jon room to step inside, and holds out her hand. ( Hi! You must be Jon. I'm Paget. Please, come in! )
