Yesterday it was incredibly hot. 36°C at noon, which is the hottest I've ever known it to get here. Since my stomach was upset all day - rather by the heat than by some bug, I hope - I spent the day inside where it was cool, playing through Dragon Age: Journeys on my netbook. I unlocked every single achievement save one. :)
I hoped to spend the evening outside writing, once it got a little cooler, but considering that at 10:30pm it was still 28°C, that plan didn't go so well. But I managed at least to write one page - nothing to get your hopes up about yet, but it's still better than nothing.
Now, it's once again 34°C outside. It's not that I don't like summer weather, but 30°C is really hot enough for me...
Right. Enough whining about the heat. Paul the octopus won't get turned into fried octopus as he predicted that we'll at least win the match for the third place this evening. And he also predicted that Spain will win the World Cup. Me, I think he should be offered a government post. Or something in the EU. How about foretelling stock market trends? ;)
Also, LJ still sucks, but that's of course nothing new.
