I went and saw Avatar in 3D today, and it was really really amazing. Well, the plot was somewhat lacking, and others have expressed far better than I just how much is wrong with the Dancing With Wolves/Pocahontas trope, but technically, the movie really was amazing. But really, Cameron claims that he spent 15 years thinking about this movie and that plot is all he can come up with?
