More than 1100 words today - for me, that's very good! Don't get too excited about the 100% though, I'm not yet finished with the chapter, though I only need to finish the last scene now. Also, I have no idea how he manages this but Haldir has wormed his way into this chapter again. He was supposed to show up in the next chapter, yes, but not in this one - but of course, there's no denying him. I am, after all, just the writer. I have no idea how some people manage to plot out an entire book before writing - my characters do with me whatever they want. I keep a few long-term plot points in mind, but stilll...
In non-smutty fanfic news, after exactly three weeks my Scull/Hammond The J.R.R. Tolkien Companion & Guide showed up today - it's huge, and the Chronology indeed has an entry showing what Tolkien did on almost every day of his life. More importantly, the Reader's Guide is just pure love, and it will be so immensely helpful - there are several entries alone on The Homecoming of Beorhtnoth Beorhthelm's Son, which together with Tolkien's essays on it perfectly showcase his interpretation of Anglo-Saxon ofermod, another concept important if you look at the Silmarillion, IMO. *geeky squee*
