Yup, it's been aeons since I've posted here but I thought I would offer you this:

The gnome is Dinpik, Pyrate Jenni's fellow, and the Night Elf is me. I've haven't laughed this hard in ages.
See, we have these "let's do somethingn totally silly on WoW" and so we do. Today is it was nearly nekkid duelling. We take off everything but our capes (because we were doing the "300" imitation - undes and a cape) and duked it out at the gates of Ironforge.
No special abilities, no weapons, just fists and brawn.
What made it funny was Dinpik comes up to Tanyel's bellybutton and continuously hit Tanyel in the 'nads for four points of damage. Tanyel, being taller, got anywhere from 32 to 64 points of damage clocking the gnome right in the choppers.
Tanyel won, of course. Dinpik is a warlock, Tanyel is a warrior. Now, with spells, etc. and full clothing, it may take Dinpik a bit of work, but he can usually pwn Tanyel...especially if he gets a fear or two in (not always easy since Tanyel has an ability to combat fear).
So yeah, we laughed our asses off. So did our Guidmate, a fellow we know as "Darth".
I needed that laugh.

Hey, I know it's been forever and anon, the last post being about Fandom Wank wanking itself, but I haven't had much time.
I'm in the mood to MST wanky people online. Anyone got any links to wankalicious speeches and the like? I tend to prefer authors though...actors too if you'd like.
I tried to find the Anne Rice one a while back on Amazon.com, but it seemed to have gotten lost in the responses. If anyone can find it, and either link me directly to it or cut and paste it to me in an email (fandom_bitch@hotmail.com) then I'll do it for ya. :)

I find this whole delteing F_W thing fucking funny and it's nice to see you finally succeeded in wanking yourselves. I think you just beat out Harry Potter fandom and Smallville fandom combined for spooge production all in one fell swoop.
Me? I didn't find it offensive, I don't particularly care if I wasn't in the know and I care even less who got the heads up and who didn't, and I especially don't care about any sikret groups, posts or elitist bullshit, because that's what it all is to me, bullshit. I think this whole failed experiment is hilarious and have been chewing on da popcorn since I found it happened and will continue to do so until it's either over or things go boom in a huge way.
As for me on the communities I haven't posted to in ages (but probably will again shortly - just been busy - damn real life for getting in the way of my fannish activities), I'll still post to them as I always have and to whatever posts that are up there that I think are worth posting to. I ignore everything else. See how easy that is? I mean, if you really want the so-called n00bs to go away, then just ignore them. Don't comment on their posts! Don't give them the attention they so desperately crave. Eventully the lot of us...er...the n00bs will get bored and go away.

There's a frickin' load of fandom n00bs out there.
I think my new favourite is the fan that says she isn't a fan and originally left fandom because it hurt her widdle feelings (and her bestest fandom friend actually didn't approve *gasp* of her *gasp* psycho behaviour and had the audacity to tell her so) and then sneaks back in, being a hypocrite (along with some other "really I left the fandom - honest" fans) and starts acting all important-like and all superior. Yeah, right n00b. Got news for you. Get the fuck over it.

Fandom being st00pid, what else? |

Thanks to pyratejenni for giving me a code. I've been wanting a journal in which to bitch about fandom for some time and so, here I am finally and what better place to have it than at Journalfen?
For all my vitriol I actually do enjoy being in fandom, and am involved in a few intensely and follow others and their stupidity regularly, but there are times when I must get it all out and bitch about what the fuck folks are doing in something that's supposed to be a fucking hobby and also do it in a relatively safe environment.
Besides, jounalfen is the home of Fandom_Wank, and while I sometimes think Fandom_wank even has some strange ideas, at least I'm in good company, eh?
So, enjoy the Bitching and let the fun begin.
