Um, I don't have a JF account, so I couldn't comment on your Unfunny Business post, but I wanted to point out that some random internet people have started a counterpetition (http://www.thepetitionsite.com/1/art-does-not-excuse-rape-polanski-must-face-justice).

It's an utterly symbolic gesture, especially since I doubt there's any big name people bothering to go about signing online petitions, but yeah. Gesture.
