Would you dump someone over their taste in books?

I would also dump someone who said they didn't like reading. Does this make me a sociopath snob?

I'd totally do both, too. I'd probably also dump someone who didn't like Star Wars. I'm totally shallow, a nerd, and a misanthrope.

I've not dated people because their grammar was bad.

Since I tend to want to choke people with really bad grammar, this one's kind of a given, I should think. Although I, too, wouldn't date anyone who like Ayn Rand, or who didn't like Star Wars. Our relationship would be crap before it even started, really.

I could never date someone with bad grammar, either. I don't know if there's anything fandom-related that I would dump someone for... unless maybe they hated Coxon. That would be a deal-breaker. I mean, how could you hate a face like that?

I went on two dates with this guy, and we were chatting one night and he said, "I don't follow the news. At all."

I responded, "Oh." Then kind of. Stopped talking to him.
