| Bio: | Overly Defensive Bio! I'm an English major, but just so I can get an editing job: I don't give a damn about the societal impact of Ethan Frome. I'm a feminist, but I don't give my plumbing stupid names or think that my period is a beautiful expression of my womanhood--or spell it "wymynhood"--or believe that porn/casual sex/guys getting erections is somehow wildly oppressive. I think there's no real mental difference between men and women, and I think that most women do more to set back equality than men do. I'm a pagan, but I don't think I'm a fairy, have three jillion cats and an equal number of crystals, freak out when someone says "God bless you," or count on magic to get anything done for me. I believe that deific power is within the world as well as without, and I think there are probably forces we don't understand, but I refuse to believe they're squishy touchy-feely forces. Because ew. I roleplay. LARP, even. It's pretty awesome. My parents teach prep school, so I grew up at three of 'em and then went to a fourth. Now I'm at college.
