Once I see Watchmen, I'll edit this post to give my review. I still haven't read it yet, so I might edit it again later in the week.
I'm still really excited. :)
EDIT: Soooo, yeah. It was awesome.
I loved Rorschach. He was cruel and brutal and twistedly noble (in his own not so noble way) and awesome. The opening credits were fantastic. I went home and searched online for a clip so I could watch them again.
Even though I kept hearing reviews about how violent it was, I didn't think it was too graphic. Yes, I wouldn't let little kids go see it, but I felt that the violence fit the story (unlike some movies where the violence is completely gratuitous).
I was slightly annoyed after the movie when I kept hearing guys complain about how the movie had "too much blue dick." ....Really? You see how many movies full of boobies and naked women? And you can't take a couple dick shots? Really?!
And "Hallelujah" was definitely an unfortunate music choice. Awwwwkward.
