Internet Memes and You [Thu Nov 2 2006|10:11AM] Or me, rather. I had the funkiest dream last, all about internet memes that had been personified in some way. I don't remember most of them, but Lol Meme, which I know nothing about and have only heard of in passing, took the form of this emaciated Ethiopian child. It kept running up to me chanting "lol meme, lol meme". And the weirdest part is when I woke up, the dream had actually terrified me. I literally huddled down under the covers trying to figure out what had me so spooked for about five minutes. Then my German Shepherd jumped on my stomach and everything was okay again. Review! Not that I'm going to get any takers here, but... [Wed Aug 23 2006|12:53PM] Every year, the Muscular Dystrophe Association hosts a "Locked Up for Good" charity event where certain members of the commuity agree to stand behind bars at the movie theatre for an hour to raise money. It takes $600 to send one child with MD to summer camp, so that's the minimum I need to raise. If you or your parents could possibly find it in your hearts to help me out with this, I will be eternally grateful, as will the child or children that you help out. Donations are tax deductable and can be given online by going to my little area of the MDA website. And if you have to ask your parents, be sure and tell them that donations are tax deductible.
