2:36 am - So...
|
I didn't finish my script in time to submit it to Project Greenlight. It's for the best, because I really wasn't happy with how it was coming together. So it's been filed away, to be pulled out when I'm ready to approach it with fresh eyes. The problem with writing horror is I tend to creep myself out.
So, next goal, next deadlines.

So, I'm off and running. This is a race with myself. Even if I don't make it, I'll still have a finished screenplay out of the deal.

4:56 pm - A quote
|
"I like to think it's more than luck, but every writer does depend on the muses smiling down on him occasionally."
"And if the muses don't smile?"
"My head starts ringing and my eyes fog over."
-- Luke Wilson and Kate Hudson in Alex & Emma
My head is ringing and my eyes are fogging over. Trying to force the muses to smile is hard.

Oh, holy hell, I have a lot of work to do. Everything else may have to be put on hold for a while until I finish.
