So. I finally got round to watching Night Watch. I don't quite know what I was expecting, but the film turned out to be ok.

It started off pretty well, went a bit dodgy in the middle and then picked up towards the end. I think mostly, it makes me want to check out the books it's based on. That could be a good thing, or it could be a bad thing. I am curious though, about the Russian edit of the film and whether the scenes that are in that that aren't in the international edit would make it make more or less sense.

So. Not that anyone really watches Robin Hood at all.

But OMG. OMGOMGOMGOMG.

Yeah. Last weekend was a big pile of OMG. And it's been a bit more like that since. With more "...what?" to balance it out.

On the other hand, since my favourite character is on Team Evil? It looks like the third season is going to be AWESOME.

so long as there is a lot of evil. and insanity. and delicious tragedy. :D

Silverchair last Friday were AWESOME.

In fact, they were AWESOME ON A STICK.

The support band...had 2 or 3 songs that they did over and over with subtley different lyrics. Sometimes they were about crying. Sometimes about... something else. Always about being emo.

ANYWAY. Silverchair were great. And I will try and actually get round to getting hold of their last two albums. :D

So... the mod on an AFI icon posting community posts a mod note saying that "y'know guys, this is primarily an icon community, can we see more of the icons and less of the not-icon pictures, random posts and nothing to do with AFI"

So one of the members who most frequently posts pictures goes off in a pseudo-huff and says that you'll only find her pictures and icons stuff in her own AFI community from now on.

Which is kind of wanky I guess.

All I want to know, why aren't they posting in my afi_Daily community DAMMIT?

Episode 3 was really great. Perhaps not in the conventional "this is a good film" sense, and a bit in the "it's better than the other 2" sense, but it was cool. Especially Yoda. And his pimpness. :D

Really enjoying the Unabridged Narnia audiobooks by HarperCollins. The first one I listened to was read by Jeremy Northam and the one I'm listening to currently is read by Derek Jacobi. Yay english accents.

That's the problem with having an english accent. You can't actually hear it in yourself. In fact, I have no idea what kind of accent I have myself other than... southern.

Which is a bit vague. I guess I could narrow it down to South-eastern. But other than than, I have absolutely no idea. Heh.

Kingdom Of Heaven is pretty good. Lots of killing and fighting and killing and fighting etc.

KoH Orlando is far less of a pansy than Troy Orlando. This is good.
