Disclaimer: The Aubreyad novels (c) Patrick O'Brian; the Sharpe novels by Bernard Cornwell. The author makes no claim to owning the rights to the originating stories or characters.
Note: We (myself and the Gillster) mooted with LJ's own Sharpiefan, Esteven, Latin-Cat, Des-Pudels-Kern, Snakey and Grace-Poppy. These are the pictures I drew for them before the event. (Esteven's is not featured, because Esteven's was a pair of dolls, and I forgot to take a picture of them.)
For Latin, the Duke of Wellington as a rooster:

For dpk, Stephen Maturin almost dressed as a leprechaun:

For Sharpiefan, Sharpe as a bird:

Aubreyad - Jack, Stephen; G
Disclaimer: The Aubreyad novels (c) Patrick O'Brian. The author makes no claim to owning the rights to the originating stories or characters.
Note: It's a "disguises" series that was meant to be for Esteven's birthday, but the monkey-suit one was late. Nonetheless. Three pictures, with the monkey-suit from Post Captain, Flora the bear and the gypsy from the same book, and young Jack-duck as a midshipman playing Ophelia.
