It's a weird feeling, replaying Chrono Trigger after all this time.

It's still a really good game--it's held up well even if there are some major plotholes (lol timetravel).

It's just... weird. God, I remember fangirling this so much when I was, what, twelve?

Just have to save Crono and do the sidequests, and....

Then I'll replay Radical Dreamers and Chrono Cross, to complete it all. God, I could die happy if they made another game.

...I love this music, speaking of Cross. I remember going 'oh crap final boss' when it started playing. It has that sound, I guess. (but of course, it wasn't the final boss)

Cross had some really good moments, speaking of. I think the game only had one major flaw, and that was at the end. Did they run out of time?

Because this amused me, and I can't seem to get into LJ:

[23:53] Ianthe Fira Arne: Huh.
[23:53] Ianthe Fira Arne: The Outer Lands just vanished.
[23:53] Ohseki Ayu: DAMMIT VAN
[23:53] Ohseki Ayu: (Actually, it probably is his fault. I think he's the one who made the object.)

[23:54] Ianthe Fira Arne: It was kind of weird. XD
[23:54] Ianthe Fira Arne: I was sitting in it, and POOF.
[23:54] Ohseki Ayu: Hahahaha.

[01:50] Ohseki Ayu: But it'd be funnier if Van made the Outer Lands fall, and Tear put them back up. :3

CONTEXT: Van dropped, so the object was deleted by the MUSH. He created it, so...

(we're talking about the Videoland MUSH)

Okay, official announcements regarding Baten Kaitos 2.
And what do I hear? "yay! this means Xelha's not born yet! :D"
Plus added comments about Milly/Millie looking like she's annoying. EXCUSE ME. The game hasn't been released yet, you know nothing about the character, and you automatically assume she's annoying? What the hell is wrong with you?!

Excuse me, but please roll over and die. In a fire.

I see nothing but Xelha hate EVERYWHERE. It skeeves me, since she's my favorite character. See, you're allowed to dislike or even hate a character (heck, I really can't stand Lyude--guess why the fanbase pisses me off! >:D;;), but when you won't SHUT UP about why a character sucks and how much you hate her and blah blah blah, it gets really fuckin' annoying.

Besides, I haven't even heard any good reasons for hating her, anyway. I mean, the ones I hear are "Her voice sucks!" Well, guess what, kids? EVERYONE'S VOICE SUCKS. "Waah, she's weak!" SHE'S A MAGE.
There are also complaints I hear, like, 'she's too nice', etc. It's not like she's nice every second of the freakin' game. I can point out specific examples, too. I mean, I am compiling the script.
Plus, if you're upset that the lead female got with the lead male? Um, hello? Japanese RPG? It's like complaining that the sky is blue. It's a cliche, sure, but it's not like bashing the freakin' characters will alter something that's cultural.

Ugh.

Actually, come to think of it, most games, the lead female gets bashed to death half the time by the fanbase. I swear, people can't stand seeing fictional characters get hooked up with other fictional characters. It's also part of that really scary misogynistic-woman thing that I see a lot in slash that really freaks me out.

Meh, I'm done.
