So I've been paging through the latest hate meme, and I see something that's been brought up a lot recently- mainly, that someone bought a lot of domains with cassie's name, and pointed them at the greatesthits entry.

I have to admit, I got some lulz from this comment:
"Stupid domain. It only points out some of Cassie's actions but does not give clear examples."

...mainly because I agree with it. I mean, I wrote that thing for fandom_wank members, for a general wank-reference and link resouce in a time before the wiki. It's not supposed to be an expose. I don't even think I was particularly mean or snarky! And I don't think I said anything that's controversial; the heidipatrol in the comments is mainly directed at other people's comments, not at the entry itself.

If someone out there actually dislikes cassie enough to pay for domains like that, isn't there somewhere better they could point it? Though I guess the point mainly was to take the names away from cassie, so she couldn't use them, and linking to greatesthits was just an extra fuck-you.

I’ve just updated the Cassie Claire Primer. No, Cassie hasn’t been wanking again lately, but Heidi apparently had a problem with someone’s comment, and started doing her whole thing. Then White_Serpent decided to get into it, and, well, I think the whole thing’s funny. Especially the part where Heidi tries to tell us, while not denying all the word-for-word copying Cassie did, why we shouldn’t use the word “plagiarism” any more.

Paul Guyot, I would officially like to apologize.

You are not a pompous ass, but rather one of God's unique creations. What I earlier misclassified as "w**K" was really just you expressing your unique and valued thoughts and feelings to the <strike>world</strike> intraweb, using the precious first amendment rights God granted us all, be we American, Canadian, or one of the other, lesser important countries.

Furthermore, as you are an important man, I am must know who you are, even though I have apparently forgotten. Please forgive my weak, forgetful mind.

<3
<3

Learning about religion is fun. Or maybe just funny.

On the Apocryphal Acts:

"So Paul baptized a talking lion, who then became celibate?"

"Wait... why would he baptize a lion in the first place?"

"Because it asked him too."

"Oh. Well, that explains everything."
