PSP Slim <3

Dear PSP Slim,

Well hello there, my love. I think we will have a very good relationship once I buy you this coming December or maybe earlier. Because OMG, if you come bundled with FFT, I am so sold and will not hesitate to get you the moment you hit the local stores. But since you're being sold in Japan with Crisis Core, I can still ignore you.

But I swear you shall be my gift to myself by Christmas along with FFT and all.

Love,
Ari S.

Nocturne

A really old poem that I wrote for Weiss Kreuz way back.

Nocturne

Beneath the silver moonlight
I watch you in the shadows unseen
I see your eyes glimmering with unshed tears
Your face a mirror of sadness
A sad smile playing upon your lips.

If only I could, if only I dared...
Reach out to that far away star
A solitary light in my bleak existence.

I love you yet I can never be your sun
I can only be the moon that revolves around you
Affecting your tides but never your day and night
For your center is the red rose that hurts you
Not the cattleya that hides behind a mask

I can't help but look
I can't help but wish...
To be close...To hold...
To feel your warmth
And taste your lips...

A poisoned kiss.

Only in my dreams can I have you
In my fantasies can I embrace
Like broken glass on dark velvet
Your shattered heart

These thoughts that I hold
Forbidden and sweet
The feelings I harbor unrequited
My heart beats a rhythm of deep longing
Of a song playing its sad melody
In the silence of the cold night.

Well surprise...

CANNES, France, May 20 /PRNewswire In an announcement sure to make waves in the entertainment industry, ADV Films President and CEO John Ledford yesterday publicly confirmed industry rumors that the firm has acquired the rights to produce, and has already begun development of, a live-action feature-film based on the Japanese animated television series "Neon Genesis Evangelion," a multi-million dollar worldwide franchise and perhaps the most influential anime title in the history of the art form. The project is a collaboration between ADV Films, Gainax and Weta Workshop, Ltd.

I'm not much of an Eva fan but just the same to those who are watch out for future news regarding this.

I believe that in book canon (unless I read it incorrectly)Sam and Frodo's relationship is a deep friendship and that the love they share is filial in nature. Of course that doesn't mean one couldn't read something more in between. But to think that they are down playing whatever that is between Sam and Frodo for the sake of pleasing those overtly conservative is not right.

There are some things in written form that when translated for the screen would need a lot of editing and revisions and I think that was what the scriptwriters for LOTR did. Of course I still haven't gotten over the fact that there was no Glorfindel and there shouldn't have been elves and Arwen in TTT but it did turn out quite well even with the minor changes.

Just me musing over stuff that I read.

A friend once said, "Bisexuals are confused homosexuals." His reason being their inability to decide one their preference. He has a point but then it isn't as simple as that. And explaining that to a homophobic is like talking to a brick wall.

PSFFC

God trying to organize a Sci-Fic and Fantasy con is hard. My head is reeling from all the legal and financial babble that most of the con organizers were mentioning. Our Tolkien group in yahoo was just a ML concerned with discussing his work and having Ebs every now and then.

When the 1st PSFFC came along we joined because we wanted to promote the group and meet fellow fans. Now that the 2nd PSFFC planning has started the ML need to consolidate the members and have it recognized as a non-profit organization. That would entail a lot of work with the drafting of rules and all.

Working with the other groups involved was exacting and tiring. I had to contain myself from retorting rudely to the rep of the Slayers group. She was being anal. Of course she has a point but couldn't she wait for the Star Wars rep to finish what she was saying?

God if this is how most of the Slayers fans are in her ML I don't want to be in it.

Wow! I can't get over the fact that I'll be using more than 3 icons. I'm so used to LJ's 3 icons that making moe icons for this journal became quite a task but heck i'll probably use some of my old LJ icons. Re-cycling is good. XD

I understand the need for a firewall in the comlab. My main gripe about it is not being able to view some of my friend's journal just because they named their journals using words that are instantly categorize as pornography. I don't know if there is a way that could fixed.
