I finally finished my snarry_holidays fic. It wasn't as long as I thought it would be, but I think I've nailed the prompt and I hope my recipient loves it.

I also have 15,000 words of my snarry_swap fic as it was originally going to be my snarry_holidays fic. Oh well--that's how it works. I hope I can wrap it up in another 5-10k. I'm also writing a few drabbles/ficlets. It's a very exciting time, writing-wise. *grins*

I love food. I'm not ashamed of that either. I wouldn't be slightly overweight if I didn't. I love the sight, the smell, the touch, the texture, the taste--everything about it. I'm a good cook, too. I cook all the time, at least 3-4 times a week. I try to prepare good food that I would like to eat from fresh ingredients (you really don't want to hear me talk about the food industry, trust me). Just the other day, I made a delicious batch of chocolate cupcakes with Chocolate Swiss Buttercream frosting as a test run for the bf's birthday this month. I also wanted to play with my pastry decorator. They came out wonderfully (in fact, I'm eating one right now), and I know what additions and subtractions I need to make to the recipe.

The point of this post...not much. Just a warning that I might start waxing poetic about new recipes that I try and such.
