| 2:31 am | Jack Davenport and Matt Rippy - Ending things romantically Jack sits down in the private room of the restaurant that he's booked. He knows this isn't going to be easy and he wants to do it on neutral territory, so they won't have bad memories at the office, or at one of their homes, or somewhere they spend a lot of time. He doesn't expect to eat, but he orders a couple of chicken salads anyway, knowing Matt likes it and it'll do for him. He shakes his head to the wine steward, ordering water for them both. The last thing they need right now is alcohol. He wants to make this as easy as possible. He knows that no matter what, this won't be easy. He cares deeply for Matt, and for Noah.
