Jack Davenport and Matt Rippy - Ending things romantically Jack sits down in the private room of the restaurant that he's booked. He knows this isn't going to be easy and he wants to do it on neutral territory, so they won't have bad memories at the office, or at one of their homes, or somewhere they spend a lot of time. He doesn't expect to eat, but he orders a couple of chicken salads anyway, knowing Matt likes it and it'll do for him. He shakes his head to the wine steward, ordering water for them both. The last thing they need right now is alcohol. He wants to make this as easy as possible. He knows that no matter what, this won't be easy. He cares deeply for Matt, and for Noah. Even for Casey, and perhaps that's what's led to today in the end. ( He can't do this any more )(feedback welcome, comments screened) |

Jack Davenport and William Moseley - An Important Phone Conversation (takes place shortly after this) Jack isn't nervous, precisely. But it has been a long time. A very long time now he thinks about it. He pushes the button with Will's number programmed in and sits back in his office chair. He's not nervous. He doesn't know what he is, though. ( On the other hand, Will is very nervous )(Feedback welcome, comments screened) |

Jack Davenport: Ever wish you could cut out the last few years? (locked tight - visible only to William Moseley, Tom Sturridge, Jared Padalecki and after a lot of thought, Christian Bale)
I don't even know what I'm looking for here or what I'm saying. I just woke up, and that question was on my mind.
There's things in my life I'd cut out completely if it meant I could have others still in it.
I wonder too if I've left everything too late, even if I wanted to fix it.
But... I'm opening the conversation. Possibly for the hundredth time or it just feels like it.
Have at. |

Final email to Christian Bale Christian... Well, here we are at the end of our agreement. It's been interesting, and comforting in a way to have to do this. So now I'm going to have to email you just because I want to - not that I didn't before but... well. You know. I hope. It wasn't entirely my choice during this time and there's - I'm going to admit this - plenty of times I wished I didn't have to. But I couldn't let you down. And now... I'm going to tell you all about my plans for your birthday. ( Jack smiles ) |

Email to Christian Bale - #5 Christian, I'm on the plane. Is it going to sound awfully cheesy if I say I'm on my way to you? Know what? I don't really care at this point. You've seen me at my cheesiest. I think. And if not, well, you will. ( The sound of the plane is a low hum in Jack's ears ) |
