I started watching Envy this afternoon, as it's got Rachel in it in a fairly major role and I've never seen it. I switched it off after about 30 mins. Presume she did it for the money - I hope the money was good, because damn.
Also, looking at Rachel's imdb page, it's got her slated for lead roles in two films (The Colossus and Lovely Bones), both of which begin shooting in October this year. If so, she's going to be doing a lot of travelling...

msilverstar and I have been busy beavering away at our AU starring kinky! versions of our Establishment pups, Billy and Rachel, and now with Dom thrown into the mix as well. As there's so much of it, we've made it its very own comm, which can be found here: push_pull_push. The logs aren't posted in chronological order, so there's a master list here. It's only got 4 logs in it at the mo, but there's more coming very soon!

It seems that Rachel Weisz is to star in Peter Jackson's next film, The Lovely Bones. This is terribly exciting and a gift for using in-game. I've got a post all ready to go; anyone know the password for est_news who could email me or leave it in a screened comment? edit: got it, thank you dalehead!

Oh, also. Does anyone know the email I should use to contact JF admin? I've opened a support request to no avail, probably because it wasn't the best route to use to contact the admins

I've been writing up a storm recently, hurrah. Posted a new Est log. Posted solofic! And it's fictional person fic, too. Lost. And msilverstar and I are writing up a great big pr0n storm with our Billy/Rachel AU spinoff that now has Dom firmly entrenched in it. And then there's my solofic AU too!
SO MUCH FUN omg. *pants* It feels great to be so creative.

I'm pimping this left, right and centre. gina and I have created a comm over on LJ so we could keep writing our lovely David and Shan series that started in game and took on a life of its own. Means that if and when I retire David I can keep writing this pairing, as they're so much fun and I love writing with gina.

I'm going to cross-post this log from Rachel's journal, but I wanted to highlight it here. Rachel has finally scened with Brendan Fraser - I don't know about Juwel, but I for one thought it would just be a fun scene between friends. It turned out to be a bit more intense than that and left me wanting to explore this pairing more (within the limits they have, obviously) and regret slightly that there's no backstory to write.
I love it when the game throws up surprises like this - encourages me to keep playing.

David was brilliant on the Friday Night Project. Loads of gayness and giggling, not to say hearing him say "tit", "arse" and "I don't do penis jokes." He looked utterly gorgeous in his suit, and utterly... well, something else in a blonde wig, short skirt and high heels in the Doctor Who send-up sketch.
Nothing on YouTube yet, unfortunately.

I'm thinking about pulling out of the game, or at least pulling David out. It feels like the place doesn't have any life about it any more; there's so many paired-up pups, it's hard to find play, especially without enthusiasm for bar chats. So many of Rachel's current in-game ties are due to things that have happened in bar chats, and I was hoping similar things would happen with David, but it's only through going out and looking for playing partners (and some generous offers from other muns) that I've got him play. Not to detract from the play or the partners that he has had; I've enjoyed the writing that I've done with him immensely, and I salute the muns of the people he's hooked up with.
I may pull out completely. It feels, some days, as if I'm involved for all the wrong reasons, and that it isn't healthy.
This isn't a passive-aggressive way to get lots of "please stay" comments, more a sort of heads-up for people, and perhaps a way of soliciting others' thoughts on the current 'state of play' in the Est.

David's heartbroken. I can't believe how much this has affected him, and how it's affecting me. I've had my heart broken enough times in my life, why am I doing it to myself by proxy?
I thought I'd enjoy writing the angst, but I'm not. I just want him to be his old perky self again.
Gah. I'm tired. Need sleep.
