Gas prices
Anyone else think it's strange that gas prices have gone DOWN since the war started? Since the first night of bombing in Iraq, gas has gone from 1.79 a gallon to 1.54.
You'd think it would go the other way, I don't know, maybe someone snuck a giant siphon into the oil fields or something.
Also related to cars, mine started making a strange road noise a couple of days ago--I was afraid it was a wheel bearing (major $$$ and possibility of wheel falling off), but my mechanic checked it out and I just have shitty worn out tires. (Less $$$ and can be replaced a couple at a time.) Sigh. Would be nice if one could get along without a car, they are a big money suck.
