    Trying to keep everyone updated
We are working on getting some major updates done. It might be a month or so, but plase be patient as we are overhauling the entire site.

1)Updating the code to the most recent version
    2)Redesigning the main site
3)Making fandom specific layouts for those who don't want to/can't make their own
4)Hiring an engineer to implement memecached and databse clustering(which I, ZR, have been trying to do on my own, but as someone with a history BA/MA and not a CS degree was just beyond my scope.)
5)Longer term, tying an archive right into the site so you can archive the fic you post to your journal with one little ticky box.
6)other fandom specific addons which we will leave up to members to decide on.

I think that covers everything people have asked for. We are going to offer every feature we can (within reason) as long as we keep the site as a space for fandom only. With our target goal of having under 50,000 (active) users I think we can offer quite a bit of value to the users.

    One thing
I've always wanted to do with journalfen since day one is integrate our fanfiction archive with the main site. Meaning, there would be an option to archive stories you post in your journal to a main fic archive.

But I should probably worry about getting the code up to date before I do anything esle.
