While waiting for my car to be done today, I was listening to Beth Holloway Twitty on Good Morning America. She was saying that she's found a lot of comfort by reading old journals that Natalee had left in her closet. And that got me to thinking - how much of my thoughts are scattered on pieces of paper and webpages all over the place, not to mention all of the files on this computer? I think it's time for a backup or two, before this thing decides to really bite the big one.Current Mood:  distressed |

Does anyone have any Pavarotti uploaded or easily uploadable? I forgot to steal all the discs from my mom yesterday. I'm especially looking for Nessun Dorma and and anything from Tosca, or a 'greatest hits' cd.
My day was retardedly calm. Quiet, which is all I have the energy for these days. Finally rose at 11:30, thanks to a terrible night's sleep, waking at 4 and not falling back to sleep until 6:30. Took me a few hours to get moving, but I did a bit of laundry and cleaned my bathroom. Oh and I almost forgot... I cut coupons too! What an eventful day. I could use a nap, but then I wouldn't sleep tonight either. I don't think.
In fact I shouldn't be drinking this can of Diet Coke right now, but fuck it, I don't want regular water right now.
I just burped green pepper. yum.
Scooby and Benny are sleeping on my bed. I wish I could do the same right now.
I haven't done my vision exercises in the two weeks it's been since my last appointment. oops.
I would like to do things to Ed Sanders, from Extreme Home Makeover. He's the poor girl's Billy Zane. I'm fanning myself! Aw pooh, I just read that he's married. Dammit.
Signed myself up for a stroke support group, but i haven't heard anything yet. It's okay, i'm sure it's only one of many. Wondering if I hit the half-mill mark in medical bills yet. I'm sure if I included prescriptions it totally would.

my eyes aren't right, (my pupils are different sizes) and this hasn't happened in a while so my dr. wants me to go to the ER and get a CAT scan. Roomie is taking me. All is okay. Will update you all later.
ETA: Home now, scan shows nothing, must see dr next week. |

It is 12 noon. I have been awake since 4am. I went to bed at 1:30am.
Needless to say, I did not accompany my roommate to her sister's shore house to go swimming in her heated pool. I just don't have the energy to be nice to people who treat my roommate like such crap.
I'm also pmssing. Yet another reason to avoid people I dislike.

Keith Olbermann is a fantastic moderator. This AFL-CIO debate is so, so good. Of course the candidates are reciting their stump speeches, but some are being so damn candid and it's so damn refreshing.
