So I finished writing the Founders plot arc I was working on! I'm now editing all... fifteenish chapters of it. The new stuff is about 87,587 words, but that number will go WAY down as I edit, because I wrote a lot of unnecessary conversations before I knew which plot points would be relevant later.

A small excerpt from an early chapter:

"Which one of you would have killed and eaten the other?" [Godric asked Helga and Rowena.]

"Me," said Helga. [...] "Rowena's always struck me as very easy to kill and eat."

"I wouldn't be very nourishing, though," said Rowena.

"I could make you last," said Helga. "There's always bone marrow."

"How do you even have answers to these questions?" Godric asked.

"I like to be prepared for anything," Helga said brightly. "Cannibalism happens."
