Yeah, I'm not leaving LJ. Er, unless they make me! I know that maybe paints me in a bad or cowardly light for some of you...I'm sorry. Too many friends here not involved in fandom to say goodbye. But when Strikethrough happened, I did set up journals at the following sites:

So, this is my ridiculously long and drawn-out response to yesterday's Flist Gratitude Day! I apparently don't have a very shy flist at ALL, which is both awesome and spectacular. *g* But since so many of you replied, I got scared that I was starting to repeat myself in the comments to each of you, and I wanted to take a moment and say...no matter how trite it might sound, I really do mean everything I've said below. And even if you didn't ask for love, or I didn't put your name down, you've all touched me in many various, wonderful ways. I wouldn't have you on my flist if I didn't adore you all. Wheeere's the Comic-Con stuff with Jensen talking about it being hard to film ABHL because of how in lurve he is with my Jared? All the interviews and stuff I've read just talk about the season 3 spoilers and the car, which WHATEVER. That stuff matters not to me, I only care about the Jared-love.

All is well in Lindsay land.

I just watched that Discovery Channel special on the USS Indianapolis shark attacks...so I've pretty much been crying for two hours straight. I am absolutely terrified to death of sharks, to the extent that I don't go into the water. Pretty much ever. Even fresh-water sometimes. (Okay, that's a lie...I actually SAIL BOATS on the ocean, but I am ALWAYS CRYING BEFOREHAND). I'll take my chances with the psychopaths on DRY LAND, thanks very much. And yet, I'm grossly fascinated by them and cannot get my fill of watching documentaries/reading books etc etc.

And then I changed the channel and it was that station that does the full Comic-Con coverage, and they showed Jensen's face and then the SGA booth. SIGH. ♥

Still, I need happy news. I was going to take a long bubble bath, but now I'm too horrified...

I forgot how much this amuses me. Oh, Potter fandom...you can check out any time you like, but you can never leave.

Er, so yeah. I'm kind of out of the loop on EVERYTHING (husband is home, YAY!!) but I was informed that Jared didn't make it to Comic Con because he was filming and missed his flight, blah blah whatever.

Since I'm sure this will undoubtedly cause certain angry fangirl masses to start hating on him AGAIN because they don't understand the concept of working vs. catering to the fanbase, I plan on being completely unfair and defriending any people or comms I see posting that crap. Nothing against you guys, I'm just tired of it and it makes me unhappy and indignant, you know? I see it and want to cry, or strangle people, and I'm not saying you guys can't be disappointed (duh, I am, too...I wanted an autograph!), but I just want nothing to do with the mean stuff. I'm sorry if that seems bitchy.

(Besides, if ANYONE has a reason to be mad at Jared, it's me. Because he is so fucking tall that I cannot seem to find a sparkly pink box big enough to KIDNAP HIM IN.)

But since my flist is pretty awesome for the most part, I doubt I'll have to do much more than avoid certain communities where the mean people hang out.
