Stepdad's computer-fixing aquaintance has computer. His initial observations agree with my own hypothesis. Found LJ client for Linux. It doesn't appear to be able to crosspost like semagic, but at least I don't have to log in and go to the post entry page seperately on all three journals.

Have been in permanantly bad mood last few days.
