I'm currently entranced by Matoi Tsunetsuki from Sayonara, Zetsubou Sensei and also the entire ARIA series and also Yotsuba&! and Usagi Drop and Mameshiba. For several months in 2009, my default icon was of a naked, dancing dude with a blue elephant cartoon acting as a censor bar. That's Keita from the series Inukami!, which is pretty absurd and also hilarious, like a magical girlfriend/harem show on crack. See it here, because it is fantastic: The best part is in the scene the icon is from, Keita is fighting a zombie magician who shoots lasers from his nipples. Lasers that make guys' clothes disappear, I should add, because he wants to embarrass them in front of their girlfriends. The icon itself is pretty wtf/hilarious, but in context it's even better/worse. | |||||||||
