So I knew that the forums at Mothering.com were a hotbed of anti-vaccine lunacy, where anyone who tries to inject some sanity is banned, but they also promote unassisted birth. That's right, not homebirth with a midwife, but homebirth with no medical professionals at all. Some things that have shown up there:

... and are supported in making that declaration because the only thing that a premature baby needs is kangaroo care. And colostrum. And positive feelings from mama.
