This is three years old, but still interesting: there's good evidence that lactation got its start with the secretion of anti-bacterial stuff onto the skin, developed into delivering the anti-bacterial stuff to the offspring, and lastly added the nutritional value. Y'see, the Caduceus is the symbol of Hermes, who is the god of liars and thieves, plus the snake is associated with evil because of the story of the Fall from Eden, so the Caduceus symbol subconsciously indoctrinates medical students into being evil, thieving liars. (Which totally ignores the fact that the actual symbol of doctors is the Rod of Asclepius, the god of medicine, and we only now associate the Caduceus with medicine because the 19th century U.S. army confused the two symbols)

On December 16 the White House announces that since the constitution says (paraphrased):

Electors chosen on Election Day meet in their respective state capitals on the first Monday after the second Wednesday in December

that December 15 is the only day that the Electoral College can vote on the new president, so now that that day has passed no one can be elected president this election cycle. Since a president can't serve more than two terms Bush will step down and Cheney will be the president for the next 4 years.
