I don't know about anyone else but with all the kerfuffle happening on LJ in regards to fandom (any fandom!) it seems the better part of prudence to set up other places. That being said, I'm Killaurey on both GreatestJournal and InsaneJournal. Other than that I'm just watching and waiting to see how things fall out. |

There are many things to say, but I don't really feel like typing so I'll see how far I get. Read HP:DH and found it to be about what I expected. Thankfully it was better than book six, but there are still many many things I had issues with. I finished my ![[info]](http://www.journalfen.net/img/userinfo.gif){kind=small} ficalbum claim! (Finally!) So that's one less thing I've got to write. (Now just twenty million to go...)... and I think I'm going to go and read fanfic. Curses. Oh, also, the first comment on this post? It'll be mine, but don't look at it unless you've finished Deathly Hollows since there's a spoiler in the icon. |

Gryffindor Pride is finished! ... Well, first draft anyways. ^^ Comes in at 26, 033 words. Which isn't far from what I'd guess it would be. (Yay!) I'll spend tomorrow rereading it and making sure it all makes sense while editing a few things that bug me then I'll send it off to wilde_stallyn.Which reminds me... how should I send it to you? Just post it to LJ under lock and key? Or would you rather an emailed version (assuming I have your email somewhere...) *cackles* It's my longest ever finished fanfic. (Slow Burn is my longest one that's on-going, and at just over 51, 000 words it's going to be a monster. Mwha.) |

Gryffindor Pride is nearly finished. (Thank god.) I just have to do Peter's interrogation (50% done - I don't like torturing Peter so it's taking me a bit longer than I wanted it to.), the Attack, and the rest of the epilogue (Peter vs. Sirius in the street). Then I get to fix some truly appalling grammar and flesh out a few descriptions (no you can't just describe a restaurant by saying that they had human waiters instead of house elves) before passing it on to be ripped apart. |

One day I will learn to write this story in order and not skip the important parts. What do I have written? I've got Peter accepting the Secret Keeper position. Lily finding out about James and Sirius. Lily deciding to let it go for now and do some snooping. Peter casting the Fidelius Charm. Then I jump to: Lily fuming over James's duplicity and making plans to get her revenge. Lily breaking into Moody's house (easiest 2000 words of this story) and then Apparating off to her parents old house (they're dead, it hasn't been sold yet - perfect for her needs) to get ready to become Narcissa. Then: Sirius in the process of tracking down Peter. I'd be more irritated about the way I'm writing it, but frankly I'm just glad that it's actually going somewhere. |
