STC/Youtube stuff.
I posted this video on Youtube a couple of weeks ago, and I’ve had a huge essay of a comment. And for some reason YOUTUBE WON’T LET ME REPLY *mutter mutter* So I’m hoping I can link the commenter to this post instead.
Well I'm glad to see some Fleetway triubtes are still coming though I am still disappointed about there being only 3 pages after 2 years. Oh allow Me to introduce Myself I'm Thenumber1yoshi, creator of the first Fleetway Super Sonic tribute on Youtube, but I'm not here to brag I'm here to comment, what I was hoping My video would do would be to inspire others to create their own Fleetway tributes, anyways I did use a lot of Running Wild for My own but I have to say what I'm impressed *2bcont.*

Yes I remember your video, great song for him. I’ve been meaning to do something like this for quite a while. But I’ve seen some incredibly boring picture vids and none of my ideas really clicked. It was when I saw some vids for Archie (particularly this one ) that I started getting a real idea of what I wanted to do.
And where better to start than Running Wild?
what I'm impressed most about is you managed to make an entire video out of such a short (but still awesome I'm just saying it was short but it was still sweet) little comic story with such a long music track and not have it either the footage or music end early or late, I couldn't even do it with Three Days Grace's Animal I have become with My own without using some of Sonic the Comic Online and some Deviantart fanart. Anyways I've never watched too many *2bcont.*
Umm, I cheated :p When I started this I didn’t appreciate how LONG this music was, I thought I’d only fit one or two parts in, never all three. But even when I did shoehorn all three in I cut out a little of Amy teaching Tails how to shoot and I looped the start of the song again for the last few panels. (I was seriously thinking of ending the Vid with Sonic falling from the Star post, but I always thought the best part of this story was the fact that after all that Super is still around somewhere.) And hey Thailla’s art is Awesome. ♥
too many Requiem for a Dream videos for some reason though I did see some Avatar the Last Airbender fan trailers that used the track (at least I think I did it could have been Me watching it with My sister on the computer) Anyways I'm just glad something Fleetway is here, there really haven't been enough still and I've already told you My true purpose of making My video as to inspire others to make their own, I was just hoping after 2 years there would be more *2bcont.*
There are a lot of Requiem 4 a Dream vids out there, so I was wary of using it, but the music was what really made the strip click, it just builds and builds and builds much like the strip does, it as a fairly steady beat to change panels to and it’s an instrumental all of which made it perfect to use. However I was slightly worried that it would make the vid seem pretentious.
After all there are already plenty of Shadow the Hedgehog, Dark (Super) Sonic, Werehog Sonic, and maybe even Darkspine Sonic ones here already (I did make a Darkspine Sonic video that used Whispers in the Dark by Skillett but it got attack due to copyright crap but since I've deceided theres plenty already I probably won't re-upload it, but the true reason is its not worth losing My whole account over one video) anyways theres plenty of those and also a ton of *To be continued*
I think the problem is that it’s a lot easer to make a vid out of a cartoon or game FMV’s, and since they’re still being made (unlike STC sob) so there’s always new stuff to make vids with, and lot of them are shipping vids and STC never did lend itself to shipping as easily as some other sonic’verses.
I lost two of my vids to the copyright mess too ;_;
and also theres a ton of Archie comic videos yet still hardly any Fleetway ones, I see ones that give the comics history but not enough tributes of the comic and the stuff in it. I really think Fleetway deserves some love as well predating Archie and having a fanbase loyal enough to continue unofficially through an online comic. Anyways would you like to be friends your video was very good and I have asked a lot of people who do Fleetway videos (mainly about Super) as friends so how about it?
I’m thinking of doing more if I can find matching music that Youtube won’t throw a fit over.
