6:50 pm	A shocking developement on Little House On The Prairie today. Laura punched Nellie Olsen in the nose and there were no repercussions! It's not that Nellie wasn't begging for it (she always is), but come on! Laura didn't even get scolded, she didn't apologize, nothing! No one cared! What is happening? 1:04 pm	Look! An entry! Been watching Skins as it progresses here. It's a pretty good show and I'm especially fond of Cassie (the girl in the icon) and her simplistic way of communicating. I imagine I'll grow tired of it soon enough, but for now I love her. Also: There is a family of pheasants living in my Mom's flowerbed. The chicks are cute for sure, but they make godawful noise when they grow up. Also too: First weekend off in three weeks! I don't know what to do with myself! 12:11 pm	Little House So a while back they started showing Little House On The Prairie here on Sunday mornings. I cannot believe how goddamn dear this show is. I loved it as a kid but I thought for sure I'd find it too corny now. (And it is corny, of course, but I don't care.) I love that the Dad is such a great guy and treats his wife like she was a saint. I love that Mary and Laura only bicker a little and are not polar opposites of each other, which seems to be some sort of law for sisters on telly these days. And I even love the littlest daughter, even if she is touched in the head and only shouts single words even though she's clearly old enough to talk. But mostly I love the Mom, because she is such a saint. She didn't even do much in today's episode, just baked some bread, but I wanted to hug her so bad. Possibly because it's Mother's Day and I feel a little emotional because I can't make it to see my own mom.
