I went screened anon comments as a safety measure when Rf got like 50 pages of spam, but I never got any spam myself.

I don't know, maybe "The Frugal Slut" gives you lots of Google hits or something? If I vanity-google myself, comments on your posts are always among the top results.

As to LJ vs JF, I guess the difference is just that JF has no "prove your humanity" check going.
