I love it whern people give me what I want.
The latest example:

A user named randomstasis posted to fanficrants to complain about short chapters. The oversensitivity brigade promptly took offense at her tone, and said that although they agreed with the rant, couldn't she be less condescending about it?

Cue wank.

Randomstasis goes bananas and starts being condescending to everybody. She pulls out dictionary definitions of "rant"; when that fails, she brings up Norse and Celtic oral tradition and paints disagreements with her as an attack on art. Meanwhile, catchester - yes, her - is backing her up, telling people to "get over it or get out."

(Catchester has not yet responded to my smackdown.)

Then randomstasis compares one person's disagreement with her to rape. I responded to that bit of disgustingness, then went on with my day.

Well, I came back to the post to see what it was doing, and discovered that randomstasis had edited it to change some phrasing that someone objected to. Since she admitted it, it would usually be a temp ban - but after that comparison I had no patience and banned her for good.

Now, all I need is for catchester to break the rules.
