Caught the first ep of Moonlight. You know those cracktastic shows that make you *facepalm* plenty of times but you cannot help but love? ~~*coughs*Torchwood*coughs*~~

Moonlight wishes it could reach that level.

It's not that show is awfully bad. It's more like it's very very very boring and everyone is just winging it. But Jason is always awesome and Sophia is cute. Now if we could make this a show about Jason's character and he and St. John (that's the guy, right?) could be done teh sex... That would be awesome.

And I really want to not compare this one to Angel. I really do. But fahrbotdrusilla just told me what happened last ep with the guy's sire/ex wife which he set on fire returning as a human. Ok, I got nuthin'. Except the giggles. And the insane need to go watch Angel/Darla eps. They're epic.

Many scenes were storyboarded but never animated. Those include a scenewhere Gaston visits the Asylum and a scene where the Beast is seendragging a carcass of an animal he killed. Both where considered toogruesome for the film and the ideas were dropped.

Bride and Prejudice
According to Gurinder Chadha, Ashanti's appearance in the film is meantas a homage to a tradition in Bollywood films where a celebrity wouldmake a cameo appearance to sing a song that has no direct involvementin the plot. The rest of the characters do not interact with thecelebrity but rather are seen in the crowd enjoying the show.

Sleepy Hollow
Casper Van Dien in real life is related to the Van Tassels (Christina Ricci's character's family; she is his love interest in the film).

Once Upon a time in Mexico
The real guns the filmmakers intended to use were delayed at theMexican border for two weeks, so for the first two weeks of filmingonly rubber prop guns were used, with all the visual effects addeddigitally in post production. At first, 'Antonio Banderas' was sothrown off by using silent prop guns that he was mouthing "bam" noisesas he fired off fake shots.

* John Barrowman's new album is coming out on November 12th. And, among others, he'll be covering Cindy Lauper, Chicago, Elton John and Billy Joel. Odd choices, but John could do a "John Barrowman sings the phone book" album and I'd still get it.

Is it wrong that I'm impossibly giddy at the thought of John singing "Time After Time"?
