Does anybody know if the pseudocide in Smallville fandom was clarified? Last news we got, people were still defending it to be true so... I admit I am dying to not more. It was a great one.

As far as I know, no. The lol_meme was obsessing over it for a while, and I *think* it was today-ish that someone asked the very same question and got responses that no one really knew yet. I'm sure some wanka has their eyes on it and we'll hear about any new developments.
