| Well, I ended up not teaching yesterday |

The glorified cold got worse; I got two hours of sleep Sunday night in spite of going to bed at 10 P.M., and then I went to the doctor. She did tell me it was only a cold, but it would be in my best interests to stay home, sleep, and take NyQuil and a cough suppressant. I was able to get someone else to go to class, give back papers, and take roll; I ended up not going into work today, either.
I'm coughing up yellow stuff, which is not nice but which is better than having it bubbling in the back of my throat whenever I draw a breath (which was the major thing keeping me from sleeping Sunday night). And I'm going through so many Kleenix sneezing and coughing that it's disgusting. Going in and talking to people about papers for five hours today would probably be impossible.
I did manage to get almost twelve hours of sleep last night, after I took some NyQuil. So that's something.
