"Cameron and Edyta's Paso impressed the hell out of me for the simple fact that they were able to do a Paso Doble to the Superman theme."
And yet, that music was a better Paso (at least it was a march so the 'feel' was partially there) than the piece of "whatever that was" that Sabrina had to dance to...and she pulled off a Paso with all the styling. Personally? Had I been choosing the dance for that music, I'd have picked a foxtrot.
I keep telling people they're just lucky they're being spared my rants on the musical choices this season, hee! Whoever is picking it seems to have no clue that the music should enhance the dancing -- and that when the music supports the styling the performance will be even better. |
