11:00 am	Hello everyone :) Thanks to the few people who friended me recently. As you can see, this journal is completely empty, haha. I'm horrendously busy at the moment with exam revision (6 days left omfg D: !!!) but once things have eased, I will be reposting all my art to my InsaneJournal as a back-up to my Livejournal Memories. :) But that'll be AFTER exams. 2:06 am	Oh good lord. Hiatus time again. :( So I come home after a lovely meal with nqdonne, kateqp + boyfriend, raelinschaos, and Cat. And this insanity is what I find. D: D: D: D: D: For now, I have locked all of my R and NC-17 rated artwork that I have access to. I have also got alternative journals here: -On Greatest Journal -On Insane Journal -On Journal Fen Please comment with your IJ, GJ or JF accounts so I can add you (if I haven't already), in the event that there is a mass exodus. :( ...And at this incredibly awkward time, I have to announce yet another LJ hiatus. :( Omg I have exams in 12 days!! *flail* So I am going to switch off my computer and internetz (*gasp!!*) and concentrate on revision. A lot is riding on these exams, and what with Sectus and recent fandom insanity, I haven't been concentrating at all. I hope you all recover somewhat from the latest SixApart blunders. I am now 100% certain the RL problems with my father are over. *phew* Sorry to the bunch of people who friended me after Sectus, I had to be very selective about who to friend back, just in case. *wibble* Further explanation on this old post, if you're interested. I was also accused of being a troll whilst I was locked down, since I'd wiped my interests/flist/profile/entries. 2:06 pm	Sectus Report 19th-22nd July *procrastinates from revision* I had a pretty rotten day yesterday, but I feel a wee bit more spritely this morning. So with a cup of coffee and HobNobs in hand, I thought I'd type up my Sectus report. :) Overall impression: Absolutely magnificent. I was never bored at any time, and despite having 2 hours of sleep in the space of 64 hours, I was so buzzed with excitment, I didn't doze off. My one point of comparison was the Accio conference which I attended in 2005, and Sectus beat that 10 times over with trumpets. :D ( Thursday ) ( Friday ) ( Saturday ) ( Sunday ) As you may have seen from my other LJ posts, I couldn't bear the fact that there were still some fandomers in London, so for the next few days I did no revision whatsoever and flailed about with whoever was still around. I finally finished reading DH by Tuesday. Some people left on Thursday and Friday. And now the fun has stopped. Exams are looming over my head. There's the impending threat of my father knowing my LJ name. *flails some more* Wah fandom. Why can it not be a real 24 hours way of life. :( I'm sorry I don't have any photos to show you, but I promise to post as many as I can find later. :D Hope you enjoyed my Sectus report! 6:03 pm	FIC This was a sketch I drew for alisanne on her last day in London (I cleaned it up a wee bit in Open Canvas). She wrote a cute smutty ficlet to go with it, awww. So I guess this could be called our first collab! ^_^ No spoilers for Deathly Hallows. 10:36 am	Hiatus I've been having an absolutely delightful time with the remaining Sectus stragglers still in London. Most have left now, wah, but it's been such a blast. I've made some new friends and intend to stalk them on LJ. :D But. Yesterday, I had the following landmine blow up in my face: my father knows my fandom name. ( wibbly explanation, if you're interested ) Anyway, all that rambling is to announce that I'm taking an LJ hiatus. I will still be around on IM and on my mobile (if you have it), if you'd like to talk. I still haven't posted my Sectus report, but I will be posting artwork when I recieve scans from the people I drew sketches for at Sectus. In the mean time, I will be friendslocking my LJ. 12:21 am	At frickin' last! So I finished Deathly Hallows yesterday (AT LAST) in the company of the lovely calyxess, mijan, nessime_lisen and laenij. They guided me around the Tube and the streets of London by my arm when I got to the last few dozen pages and couldn't take the book away from my eyes. They comforted me when I wailed at the sad bits. They laughed at the disgusted faces I was making whilst reading the epilogue. Thank you, my darlings. 8D ♥ In short, I absolutely loved it. There were many things that could have been done better, but dudes, you cannot fault JKR for giving us a cracking good story. I adore the Trio even more. I am totally in love with canon Harry, for once. I am a smidgeon away from becoming a Harry/Draco supporter (you lucky little buggers!!). I cried after reading Chapter 33, and I have never cried whilst reading a book before. *sobs all over keyboard* Oh my god. *blows nose and sobs some more* Ever since Sectus, there's been a frenzy of people signing everyone's copies of Deathly Hallows. I have filled up the front 3 and back 3 pages of my copy, wheeee! In some of the books I've been signing, I've tried drawing a little doodle, because hey, that's what I do 8D! It started off easily enough, but then it seems I was targeted by the Snarry fen. xD I swear, I must have drawn about 20 little Snarry sketches in as many copies of Deathly Hallows. Awfully good fun, but there's only so many poses I can think of off the top of my head and draw in biro!! Of particular note is the cracktastic porny Snarry collaboration between me and calyxess that we drew for snapetoy. :D dragonaries has WIP photos of the entire process. *grins* I've been drawing some much more elaborate DH-related pictures in the books of those Sectus attendees still in London, and hopefully whenever the owners of said books get back home and can take a scanner hostage, I'll be able to show you all the pictures. :D Drive-by pimpage: snape_after_dh, a new fic/art fest. I cannot resist temptation, and although I should be concentrating on revising now that I'm back at uni, the knowledge that some of you are still here makes it impossible to do so. Omg. So, I am free every evening from about 4 onwards, and I'm free from 12 onwards on Wednesday. *whee* Would anyone like to uhm, I dunno, just hang out and have fun? Drabble and drawble? 7:16 am	*flail* The apocalypse cometh! Have turned off friending notifications and have turned on friends-only commenting. Sorry, guys! There are many of you that I unfortunately don't have the time to follow on my flist, but with whom I love sharing comments occassionally. It's only temporary though - until after Sectus and Deathly Hallows. I was horribly spoiled for Half Blood Prince (although I was actively looking for spoilers at the time), and I regretted it afterwards. So at the moment, I am completely unspoiled for DH, and I'd like to keep it that way. To-Do List: - Go to uni this morning (urgh) - Get home and FINISH MY BLOODY SECTUS PRESENTATIONS. Only 2 illustrations left, man. *scolds muse* - Make paper and OHP version of presentation in case technology fails. - Iron clothes - Get laptop from father, I can't be computerless for 4 days omfg! - THEN MUST PACK OMFG. Must remember to take all the Art Gallery stuff with me. - If possible, surreptitiously fix my Yule Ball dress without mother knowing. >_> Long story. But alas, I think I won't have the time. ;__; - THEN GO TO BED. - Meet moshes, seshat1 and ariadneelda at Kings Cross tomorrow morning!! - SECTUS!!!! *falls off chair* So much to do! So much squee! What was I thinking! *wibble* :D So for the hd_holidays Last Hurrah fest, I got hit by a wee H/D plot bunny, which grew out of control and turned into a 10,000 word fic. I drew some illustrations for it, to redeem myself. I know everyone is going nuts over Deathly Hallows and the film, but if you are in need of a gentle break from all the flailyness.... :D And there is porn, too! I wrote porn, you guys! My first slash porn. :D Thanks to nqdonne and swtalmnd for the thorough nazi beta work. :D ( Healthy Sportsmanship ) Harry/Draco, NC-17 Gift for dark0feenix Summary: Who'd have thought the worst part about being a Quidditch medic wasn't the stress and disgusting bodily fluids, but the ordeal of caring for the Cannons' star player Harry Potter? I'm just beyond amazed that you all enjoyed it, especially with a pairing that has some of the best writers in the world writing for it. 11:24 pm	*squee* I've just been to see Order Of The Phoenix with shocolate, calyxess, ciorstaidh and sheepybunbuns!! My review: OMFG ABSOLUTE PERFECTION A+++ ♥♥♥♥♥ 8D!!!!! I am so hyper right now. 8D! I had shocolate sitting to my right, and I squee'd and clung to her whenever Rupert was adorable or Dan was being edible with his gorgeous sweaty neck. And I had calyxess to my left, and I squee'd with her and hit her arm repeatedly whenever Alan Rickman was being all "I will penetrate your mind then rape you senseless" on Dan. And I just flailed at everybody in general whenever Sirius was pimpin' his Pervy Gay Godfather routine to the max. Marvellous. 10:32 am	Attn: Sectus people! *meep* Attention Sectus attendees who missed out on buying Deathly Hallows via the conference! (like me, boo) What are your plans for buying the book? I want to pre-order from somewhere (£9 cheaper than up-front) and then go pick it up at midnight or whenever. I'll be heading back to Sectus for the reading party. It'd be nice if I could go with someone on my flist. :) Possible places to go: - Waterstones in Gower Street - Foyles on Charing Cross Road - Borders on Charing Cross Road or Oxford Street (the WHSmith in Kings Cross does not do pre-orders) I'm not sure if all these places do pre-orders, but I will check if enough people want to come with me. I don't want to go to a super-popular busy shop, otherwise we'll end up queuing for hours and there's the risk of drive-by spoilery bastards. D: So, anyone? *hopeful* ETA: Yay!
