A/N: This happens in a universe of my own canon; eventually, I'll finish and post the longer story. For this one, all you should need to know is that Chapter 6 never happened, and Gabriel ran off with Friedrich. He's come back to try and make it all work with being Schattenjäger, too. Hmph. I've got...about forty pages so far written, for a piece that'll probably be...eesh, easily three or four times that long, once it's finished.

And not a single person I know in the fandom. *sigh* AFAIK, it's a slash fandom of about three, and I don't actually know the other folks. It'd be really nice if I could pimp people into it, but - it's a video game. (Live-action filmed, I hasten to add.) So I can't exactly point to available eps.

Allyally! I just saw a preview for Walk the Line! I have to say - WOW. He really looks and sounds amazing. I would never know the singing wasn't Johnny Cash, if I hadn't heard otherwise. Ane even knowing it's Joaquin, it's hard to remember it, looking at him. So very cool!

Anyone else having problems with AIM? My Jurgen nick keeps getting disconnected for no readily apparent reason, even when the others are fine!

I should probably tell folks - I just bought Myst: Uru. So if anybody needs/wants to hang out or write or anything, please feel free to IM me - it'll go to my phone, and I'll know to get online. Otherwise I'm kinda exploring other worlds. I tend to get lost in it! *sheepish grin*

Is it just me, or are there still weird issues? Like, T - if someone links to a post of yours, I can get there, but otherwise none of them show up, either on your main journal page or my flist. And some folks, I can see their entries on their page, but not on my flist. Now I'm confuzzled, because I thought that was fixed. *scratches head* Is it just me and I should e-mail the admins, or is it a bunch of folks still, and I should just wait patiently?

Do you get Letterman in AUS? Do you have a way of downloading it or anything? Martha Wainright's on tonight!

The CPU fan on my laptop has all but quit. It's to the "either sounds like jet taking off or isn't working at all" stage. *sigh* Hello, eBay and Dell technical manuals...

Until I get it fixed and/or get a monitor for my desktop, I'll be limiting my online time to when my cowriters are on, because I don't want to be on for hours otherwise and have the CPU overheat. Stupid sucky thing.

Because he is Evil! My god, what a rotten movie. And I bought the DVD! LOL

There are some movies that are so rotten they're great. This...isn't quite one of them. It does come darn close, though. Sure, most of the actors are rotten, but a couple of the main ones are actually quite good. And then there's Jurgen, who's better! :) He just obviously had such an incredibly fun time doing this movie. And why not? Uwe Boll is totally insane, and thinks really highly of him.

And aside from the Jurgeny goodness - Uwe Boll is insane. In that OMGWTFLOL way that just cracks me up. When they start doing bits of the videogame in the midst of the live action, and that insanely expensive and dangerous 360^o shot of each actor - So. Damned. Funny!

Now I'm wanting to watch it again, dang it!

Jurgen! Well, okay, technically Jürgen. :)

Love. That. Man. He's just so damn interesting. I would give body parts, I think, to get to talk to him and write his bio. Born at the tail end of WWII, grew up in Germany, has worked the world over, has a marriage I can't find anything out about, another ex-wife he's still friends with, a daughter killed at a young age, and two other kids. He's worked with some of the most amazing people out there, done some incredibly complex and well-respected roles, and isn't afraid to stretch himself. And he still does movies like Judge Dredd. There's got to be a fascinating mind behind that face!

And the face... When he was younger, he was just the quirky side of gorgeous, exactly the way I like 'em. H-o-t-t hot! His skin has aged rather more than I care for (I suspect he does or did smoke heavily), but he's still got the body of someone much younger, and obviously takes good care of himself. He's got that smouldering gaze that I suspect is why he gets so many villain roles - he smoulders so well! And he looks really yummy in a uniform, too. :)

The very hardest part is just doing her justice! Blu's just so amazing. I owe Lori so many huge hugs for introducing us! A chance meeting by two pups on a beach, and from there... She's my very best friend. I adore her. She's a wonderful, amazing writer; a giving person who's always there for me and knows what to say. She keeps me company at work with IMs, on the phone when I'm out, and on AIM whenever we possibly can. I'm so, so lucky to get to write a couple different pairings with her, and I'm even luckier to have her for a friend.

She also thinks rather too highly of me, I think, but I'm not gonna fault her for impaired taste. ;)
