Oh gee yes. I can see that when her entire comment was copied and pasted with a link to the post she commented on, she was totally a victim of misrepresentation there.
I was going to just close up JF and tsk myself for poking at it again, but when I worked that out, I had to post to record for future generations to snicker over. This is beautiful--the indignant martyrdom while bitching about how disgusting the martyrdom of others is, that's classic, there. Timeless. And blessedly independent of the subject matter of the rest of the wank.
That it's a comment on a wank write-up containing a real quote out of context? That's just the cherry on top.

You know, I keep tripping over more racewank everywhere I go. Kind of hard to believe this was all started by a barista, when you stop to think about it, but that's fandom for you.
Anyway, this was not so much tripped over. Someone gave me this one.
Do you know what the magic, get-out-of-wank-free word is? It's not that.
I know "I was an idiot/asshole/totally bugfuck about this/delete or add as applicable; I'm sorry" isn't the easiest thing to say, but you almost have to admire how dedicatedly this woman is digging her hole ever deeper. I'd have expected her to strike bedrock or the water table by now.
I ETA'd it into the FW post, for the amusement of anyone who is still paying attention or shows up late. Hell, at this rate we may get a round three.

As far as my cleaning-addled mind can tell, the whole ![[info]](http://www.journalfen.net/img/community.gif) bad_penny ![[info]](http://www.journalfen.net/img/userinfo.gif) pyratejenni banning scandal makes absolutely no sense, and I have decided I am overall happier just ignoring it.
I'm half tempted to start a grassroots campaign to get people to join me, but that would kind of defeat the purpose.
Meanwhile, the cabal won't give me the nuclear brownies recipe. Come on! It's not like I have a friend living in Los Alamos or anything except for that bit where I do.
