I admit I don't read anywhere enough in game, due (she said, making excuses) to writing a lot and having a v busy social life (all pleasure, I admit it.)

Any road up, I loved the spat that opened up on the Friday Five this week, it is a truth, universally acknowledged that when a crowd of actors are together, egos will get in the way *g* And OMG, did they ever this week!

Ian waded in preaching discretion but were Rupert not hors de combat, he'd have been egging them on with an acerbic comment or three.

Most excellently done! I especially liked the 'dude, she may be your wife but she's an actress!' (paraphrasing there) for in some cultures, actor is the same word as prostitute.

[November 18, 2008. The morning after Stephen collars Reese. Cross-posted to reese.]

It's a chilly, gray day in L.A., and Reese loves it. The comforter is warm, Stephen's heartbeat is strong and steady beneath her cheek and Reese is languid, relaxed and curled around him. She sighs softly: a quiet, content sigh.

Adrian has the vacuum out. Bear is hiding under the table. Ilsa is upstairs; she's been sulking since Sendhil left her behind. So Adrian is vacuuming.

His growl can't be heard over the noise of the vacuum, but even Munchkin's tiny weight makes a difference when he pounces on the vacuum hose and holds on with all four paws.

"Monster!" Adrian exclaims in exasperation. Off goes the vacuum, and he pries the tiny cat off of the hose. "No, that's bad. Go play." He carries Munchkin to the hallway, sets him down, then returns to vacuuming.

( A few seconds go by, and the weight appears on the hose again. )

Stephen has left very few instructions for Reese. Only two, really. One--stay the hell out of the kitchen, I won't burn it down, and two--wear something you don't have any sentimental attachment to. ( Just two instructions, that's all. )
