Why are all the wanks sucking lately? Did our recent feeding frenzy of metawank devour the meager remains of that which was good, holy, and funny at Journalfen? Some of my favorite snarkers (e.g. ashenmote, pokecheck) are gone. A retarded group of Anti-Cabaliers (who seem to just want to Subvert the Dominant Paradigm and don't know shit about what goes on around here) run amok, mostly just replying to each other's inane, unfunny comments. I'm not an oldbie by a long shot (I started reading about a month after Crystalwank), but I'm starting to feel like one.

I know we have our droughts of funny wank, but they don't usually last this long!

This is one of those synchonicity things - I've come across several people in the last week on the internet who are against vaccinations. Now, I'm well aware that there are a lot of nutty people on the interweb, but I just don't see the motivation behind being against vaccinations. Is it political? Spiritual? I know Ned Flanders thinks "they're controlling our minds with flu shots," but I've never met anyone IRL who does.

You know what I thought of after this exchange?

There's totally got to be some community of batshit Shakespeare fen on the internet that wanks all the time. Being an English major, I've had my fair share of fights about Shakespeare in class. In fact, I'd say they are probably the wankiest English classes I've ever taken.

They must get ridiculously pretentious and out of hand online, with no professor with some kind authority to at least moderate the discussion.

I'm excited for the day F_W sees Bard wank. I don't even know where to start looking. (Don't say Sparknotes - that's mostly retarded highschoolers and first years writing their essays an hour before class.)
