9:00 pm	It all started so simply... My mom, all unknowingly, brings a copy of the second Twilight book over to our house. Bored, my 13 year old decides to go ahead and read it. She was complaining about the writing but she couldn't stop reading and ended up tearing through the rest of the series faster than Edward's teeth tear through Bella's uterus. She does Bella impressions, flinging herself around the house, yelling "Whine, whine, whine!" There are frequent outburst of "Mom, can you believe he supposed to be dazzling???" and "Rennesme? Seriously, Rennesme?" And still, she cannot help herself. She's hopelessly, helplessly into Twilight. (Listenting to her is a bit like finding Fandom_Wank has moved into your house. And eaten all your cookies. And needs you to do the laundry. But that's a whole other story.) Tomorrow, she's off to a Robert Pattison event. I've lost her. Lost her to the sparkly, sparkly vampires. 5:54 pm	My daughter and her girlfriend are upstairs plotting a novel about a vampire nun who can't stand being immortal because she can't go to heaven to be with God and doesn't want anyone to drive a stake through her heart because that would be a mortal sin for them. 7:41 pm	I've been getting some e-mails with passwords and newsletters that I never signed up for. At first, of course, I was pondering if this was a problem for me and then I realized I've been subscribed to the beliefnet.com Health and Happiness newsletters and signed up for a Living with Diabetes forum. I'm starting to feel a little concerned about this person. It's as though someone is screaming help onto my answering machine and it's a wrong number.
