I am still trying to get settled into my new work home, and playing catch up from the move with filing and such. Busy, busy. Also, I got my new computer early so I spent last weekend with Computer Dude and then playing Sims 2 for the first time. I only watched one movie:
The Incredibles
I loved this movie! It was funny, clever, had fantastic animation, interesting, multi-dimensional characters and best of all a plot that allowed for great character development. I loved that the Big Lessons to be Learned were meant for the hero and that the villain was somewhat sympathetic. I think this was one worth purchasing and it was probably my favorite animated film I’ve seen this year.
I still have Kiki’s Delivery Service to watch, though, so that might change.
Anyway, 2 thumbs up, 5 stars and I definitely highly recommend this one.
I also watched Moonlight on Friday and loved it and quite a bit of reality TV, but I’ll have to memorialize my thoughts on those later. Back to work.

I loved it too! And I loved that even though there were Big Lessons to be Learned they also had those wonderful side touches that make Big Lesson movies not so preachy. Like the family all heading back from the island in a rocket and still getting "are we there yet"? | |
