| Planning a Twilight Trailer Parody |

Sorry for those who are sick of Twilight, I don't mean to pester you!
Anyway, after seeing this hilarious parody, and because I need content for my animation portfolio this upcoming semester, I was planning a similar parody of the Twilight trailer, but I need help.
I've got a script penned out, but I need some Buffy fans to take a look at it and tell me Buffy is in character or not. I haven't watched it for a while. Also, the Buffy I've written is more season 1-3 Buffy than the later one.
I'm also looking for voice actors, particularily for Giles and James, but if you've got a good Buffy or Edward voice I'd love to hear it. Just post a comment and I'll give you my e-mail.

The article mentions that there is a possibility that previews will happen "as early as Christmas 2009 and officially will open summer 2010," and that by reviewing patents you are able to gleam what may be included at the site. |

Delta makes woman with muscular dystrophy crawl off plane
On July 20th, Julianna's (delayed) Delta flight landed in Atlanta at 7:30pm, with a connecting flight scheduled for 8:05pm. Julianna, who has muscular dystrophy, missed the connecting flight because nobody came with a wheelchair until 8:05—the same time the connecting flight took off. To make matters worse, the plane crew told Julianna she might make the flight anyway if she stopped waiting for help and got off the plane right now, so she crawled down the stairs on her own. When the wheelchair came she was "wheeled into a back room and advised" that her plane had taken off. But that was just the first half of her ordeal, and the next eight hours only got worse.

blackjackrocket makes a rather mundane post in the pokemon community to find out if jesusatemeout still wants to do an earlier agreed upon Pokemon trade. jesusatemeout says she does, and they proceed to began the joyous dance of trading!
Sadly, this does not go smoothly. A span of time passes with no reply, and BJR starts getting testy.
"...ok, I've been waiting for TWENTY TWO MINUTES now, stalling out on that INVITE/DISCONNECT screen. Where the HELL are you?" "Yeah, half an hour. Tell me when you're *actually ready* instead of making me wait around with that insipid music going on."
jesusatemeout replies about twenty minutes later: "You could like. Not be mean. Right when I got to the Pokecenter, my internet went out. It's still intermittent. I was fucking tearing my hair out and worrying you'd freak out, and you totally did. I don't intend to keep your Lugia, I'm very happy you let me get the info with a tradeback, and please just calm down and stop accusing me of shit when it is entirely out of my control.
In fact, if someone completely disappears, I think it's safe to assume that their internet went out or something more important happened. Next time just be patient- I will get back to you when I can."
In most cases, things would smooth themselves out from here and people would go on about their lives. But really, would I be posting here if it had? Of course not.
Aside from the always amusing cluelessness of BJR, we also feature penguinsane letting her know she's banned from the pokewifi community in spite of this whole shebang not taking place there. |

4 - Because Bravo has tricked me into watching their evil reality shows....( shear genius spoilers )
5 - And finally, back from a week of house/dog sitting. It was really quite lovely. Relaxing, mellow. The dog, Betty, was really sweet. But she was very glad when her mommies got home.
Now I've got to get myself back on schedule.

So what happens when an obscure American musician finds out that a Japanese indie band that just might be less obscure has the same name as the one you've already picked. Well if the name is Versailles you copyright the name and threaten legal action against the Japanese band for stealing the name from you. Because you know there's no way that they could have been inspired by the French city the name comes from being as they are a visual kei band that uses the glory days of French aristocratic society as their band's theme.
Needless to say the wank is easy to find from both sides in the US Versailles myspace page.
And wank from JP Versailles can be found a few places like the Last.fm shoutbox for JP Versailles and the Jrock Revolution Versailles board that has their announcement that they will be changing their name so they can continue performing in the U.S. |
