It seems Riverside is about the only area around here that isn't on fire, though there are fires to the north, south, and west. While I won't be leaving town for the next few days (the easiest routes out are either blocked or flooded with smoke), all I'm having to deal with here is a bit of smoke and ash. I'm keeping the windows shut and the fan/filter on and hoping that everyone else (and their houses!) comes out OK. School is officially in session, but my professors have all sent emails saying they won't be in, so I'm just kinda huddled in my apartment trying not to breathe too deeply. |
