I don't even know what I'm trying to say here :(

So, ST Reboot/ST:XI/ST:AOS/whatever you want to call it fandom is chugging on! (If you're one of the three people on the internets who still haven't seen it, there will be spoilers).

I'm sure there's been wank between Spock/Uhura and K/S shippers. Of course, the logical solution is a threesome! Which I love, and are hot (when it's not about the guys sublimating their love through the girl, ick).

But, idk, reboot!K/S is starting to annoy me? It seems like the boring default here, when the original version was so ~epic and canon~ and all that jazz. And I'm becoming an epically defensive S/U shipper- whenever I see people saying that they hate it, or will never see it as canon in any universe, I start going >>>:( at the screen. I guess for the next film, they'll go for the crappy love triangle, and the ~shipping wars~ will get worse, and I'll be as annoying as anyone else :(

I mean, I found myself thinking that Kirk/Uhura is faily because he doesn't deserve her! I used to laugh at the overidentifying Ten/Martha shippers who flat out said in their fics that the Doc was 'giving her what she deserved' by sexing her up. That's shite characterisation and a really horrible way of looking at relationships, IMHO. It isn't supposed to be a direct give-and-take like that.

Maybe this had a point? IDK :\ LOL OVERINVESTED IN STAR TREK SHIPPING.

LOLOLOLOL (Spoilers for Doctor Who S4 casting).

I sort of understand what they are trying to say here, but it really doesn't work. Somewhat like their attempts at being 'witty'.

After seeing the last two episodes, I now have a het pairing involving the Doctor and a human. This is very strange.

EDIT: Shockingly enough, Who fandom is made out of pathetic sexist fail. How many of those fangirls adore Captain Jack, who was/is far more Sueish and considerably nastier? >:(
